Jamie fell in love with Tanglewood Plantation the minute she drove under it’s live oak trees and stands in constant admiration of it's 200 year history. She has a triple major in English Literature, Psychology, and Asian Studies from Mary Baldwin College in Virginia and has lived in South Carolina since 2005. She is the mother of four wonderful children and is married to a fantastic man who indulges her, even when she wants to buy a Plantation!
Freddie, Head of Guest Relations & Pest Control
Freddie is South Carolina's friendliest cat! While he spends most of his time patrolling the grounds and keeping the property clean, he is nearly guaranteed to greet you during a tour of Tanglewood. Freddie has a very comfortable vacation home in the historic Pump House on property during events and photo shoots, so don't fret if you don't see him!
Solomon Mack, Grounds Keeper
Tanglewood’s perfectly manicured lawn and beautiful blooming flower beds can be traced back to the hard working hands of Mr. Solomon Mack. If you’ve ever wondered how everything stays green, trimmed, and lucious, it’s because of the long days put in by Solomon. Tanglewood is picture perfect because of him.
